Our stone built farm bothy offers guests the perfect balance between back-to-basic living and five star luxury, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing getaway without having to compromise on comfort.
The bothy is situated at the front of our traditional farm steading and guests can enjoy spending the evening in-front of the fire, or cooking up a storm in our outdoor kitchen area overlooking the Nith Valley.

RECONNECT
All of our accommodation at The Outdoor Hotel is self-catering, however, as a working farm good food is at the heart of everything we do here. So if you want to sample some of our local produce we do offer food packs which can be pre-ordered and left in the bothy ready for you to cook once you've arrived. The Bothy's fire doubles as a brilliant oven, but there's also an electric hob incase you need a back up. Outside there is a fire pit and grill to cook on too, all tools will be provided.
The Outdoor Hotel is an opportunity to escape from the modern world and as such there are no TV's or guaranteed wifi (however, there is good 4G coverage if you need to stay in touch with the world). Heating is provided solely via the wood burning stove which doubles as an oven and there is only a cold water supply to the taps.
The kitchen area has a toaster, microwave, mini electric hob and fridge and all the basics to help you cook up a storm.
The ensuite shower room has an electric shower (which is lovely and warm) and a waterless composting toilet.
